Why Choose Our Curricula?
More than 700,000 teens become pregnant each year, sexually transmitted infections are at epidemic proportions with over two-thirds occurring among young people ages 15-25, and there is significant emotional pain that occurs with early sexual involvement, and countless hearts are broken.

Youth Development programs are focusing on skill-building, boundary setting, and an understanding of healthy relationships. This results in more and more young people saying “yes” to the freedom of healthy relationships and “yes” to developing true friendships.

Northwest Family Services has been involved in youth development education for over 20 years. Its FACTS curriculum has been proven effective and is used in school systems nationwide. NWFS continues to grow and to expand its services. Currently, we have many offerings in youth development:

  • peer enacted dramas
  • curricula
  • teacher training
  • parent education
  • peer leader training
  • in-class presentations
