NWFS provides educational programs to youth and families supporting positive choices. Several parent education programs are available.

Love and Logic is a philosophy of raising and teaching children which allows adults to be happier, empowered, and more skilled in the interactions with children. Love allows children to grow through their mistakes. Logic allows children to live with the consequences of their choices. Love and Logic is a way of working with children that puts parents and teachers back in control, teaches children to be responsible, and prepares young people to live in the real world, with its many choices and consequences.

“FACTS/Datos” is directed to parents of middle school children and early high school. It provides information, skills, and support to help parents navigate the challenging teen years. It covers very specific topics including setting boundaries, identifying healthy relationships, understanding risk behavior and consequences, and much more.

“Transitions” Program is aimed to help parents (and teens) navigate the difficult terrain of moving from middle school to high school. This program will also incorporate the foundations from the parenting program “Love and Logic”.

Sólo para Mujeres is directed to Latina women covers an array of topics including parenting skills, self-esteem, and boundaries.

La Familia Sí vale la Pena covers many of the topics in Datos but includes cultural adapation and navigating the school system.
