Faith-Based Education

Northwest Family Services recognizes the spiritual dimension of the human person and the contribution of the faith-based community to the betterment of society. Research shows that religious faith and a strong moral sense play important roles in protecting young people and adults from harmful choices. It provides a base which can promote happiness and success in family life. Northwest Family Services strives to work with the faith-based community to provide programs which support wise and healthful choices for youth and adults alike.

These programs include but are not limited to:

  • Mother-Daughter and Father-Son workshops help prepare parents and their children for the changes puberty will bring.
  • Parent-Teen workshops equip them with the skills they need to manage the challenging teen years.
  • Workshops and presentations for community leaders, parents, and teens are offered on a variety of topics.
  • LifeSaver Retreats focus on the many benefits of abstinence, the dignity of the human person, and the importance of respect.
