Marriage Preparation

Marriage is a solemn vow of continued friendship and loyalty whereby a man and woman make a commitment to each other that is faithful, permanent and open to life. Marriage is the most important decision you will make. Careful discernment while preparing for marriage is invaluable.

Always Faithful
Always Faithful is a series of 3 group classes followed up with 2 individual couple sessions covering topics related to success in marriage. The class sessions cover the various aspects of marriage and the skills needed to maintain a lifelong commitment. The individual sessions allow the couple to discuss specific issues and needs in a confidential setting.

Always Faithful uses research based and proven strategies like the Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program communication model as well as the FOCCUS premarital inventory. The FOCCUS assessment is used during the individual sessions to assist couples in exploring their relationship and discerning their readiness for marriage. Some topics covered are:

• The Nature of Marriage
• Communication
• Family of Origin
• Roles and Expectations
• Problem Solving
• Marital Spirituality
• Sexuality
• Natural Family Planning

Cost: $235 per couple which includes two private sessions. Visa and MasterCard are available.
