Youth PhotoVoice: Visualizing Our Future Through the Lens of Photography
This summer, Vibrant Future Coalition of Northwest Family Services will once again select 12 students to participate in the Youth PhotoVoice Project. This year the focus will be on “Visualizing Our Future Through the Lens of Photography." This will be a 4 week program that will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from June 27th until July 20th (no class July 4th) from 1:00-4:00 PM. The program is an engaging photography and social action project where students will go out into the surrounding community in order to discover and explore their future goals and aspirations and show what their future might look like through their photos. This program will include many fun field trips as well as educational opportunities where youth can take pictures in order to bring awareness to the community.
