Northwest Family Services (NWFS) is seeking volunteers to work with middle and high school youth in PreventNet site programs in Clackamas County. PreventNet Community Schools represent a partnership between local schools and community service providers to improve academic success and reduce juvenile delinquency. Volunteers will have an opportunity to help with after school programming, including academic help, arts and crafts, sports, robotics, drama, dance, cultural activities, gardening, service learning projects, and more. Northwest Family Services administers PreventNet sites at Rex Putnam High School and Milwaukie High Schools and Rowe, Alder Creek, Gardiner, and Kraxberger Middle Schools. Mailings - NWFS often has large mailings to send, and a few hours of your help with envelopes is enormously appreciated.
