Screenwise is helping reduce cancer burden and health inequities in Oregon through early detection, evidence-based care, risk factor screening, education, linkage to medical treatment and surveillance. We provide access to no cost mammograms through the Oregon ScreenWise Program, a statewide network of providers that offer variety of breast cancer, cervical cancer, and genetics services for eligible (age, 250% Federal Poverty Level income) uninsured and underinsured patients who are uninsured and do not qualify for the Oregon Health Plan. The NWFS ScreenWise Project also provides bilingual, bicultural care coordination throughout diagnosis and course of treatment. So far, NWFS ScreenWise Project has helped over 250 participants get their breast and cervical cancer screening since May 2018.
