The Position

This position provides outreach services to Oregon’s migrant seasonal agricultural workers to provide education to reduce the transmission of COVID-19.

Job Duties

  • Work as a part of a team to bring education, resources, and guidance to partners, agricultural farms, and migrant camps during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Drive to provide literacy-equivalent information and resources to MSAW.
  • Using established protocols, refer MSAW to COVID-19 testing or other appropriate community resources.
  • Provide individual and/or group training.
  • Other duties as required.

Education / Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills and Abilities

  • Bilingual, bi-cultural English and Spanish is required.
  • Experience working with Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Workers is desirable.
  • Able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  • Able to build and maintain rapport with youth and adults from diverse backgrounds and personalities.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
